As a creative agency, Fortuna Co., Ltd. mainly aims to offer personal service at clients’ requests.
For instance, we run consulting and support business of competing in the domestic market at oversea companies’ and government agencies’ requests, obtain the rights of domestic/international superior contents (especially film and entertainment), and popularize/manage them.  We also produce films, TV programs, books and DVDs with the support of our business partners from various fields.
Moreover Fortuna Co., Ltd. has had an impressive record of achievement in M&A of domestic/international companies and launched into real estate business and holiday resort development business.

Representative (Shinro Murai)’s profile

He was born in Iwate in 1954.  In 1974, he studied under Shohei Imamura while he was a student of a university.  He participated in producing Kirio Urayama’s films and telefilms as a member of direction team.  In 1976, he got a job at the editorial department of Kinema-Junpo, Co., Ltd. and engaged in reporting all kinds of domestic/international films, writing articles, and editing books.  In 1990, he participated in publishing “NEW FLIX,” which was newly published by Victor Books, as an assistant to the chief editor.  After he took the post of chief editor of a film magazine named “FLIX” in 1993, he regularly appeared on TV and the radio.  In 1998, he established Brain Works Corp. (Brain Works Co., Ltd. at present), which has published novelization, magazine books, photographic collections as well as magazines and produced approximately 150 books on film and entertainment.  He personally writes articles for magazines, newspapers and websites and gives a lecture at many places.  In 2006, he established Fortuna Co., Ltd. in order to develop new fields of business.
He has good friendship relations not only in Japan but also in foreign countries.  He has promoted a friendship with many celebrities such as Clint Eastwood, Jodie Foster, Ridley Scott (film director), Dino De Laurentiis, John Lasseter, Hillary Clinton, Giorgio Armani, and Celine Dion.
